CoD: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 on new graphics engine! First details
News from this morning has been confirmed that the first information about the new Call of Duty, as well as Warzone 2, will be released today around 7pm.
In recent days, content creators on YouTube had the opportunity to talk in a special Q&A session with developers from Infinity Ward about the future of Call of Duty: Warzone 2, as well as the upcoming CoD part to be subtitled Modern Warfare 2.
It is now officially known that both of these productions are being created from scratch on a new graphics engine, which means that they should be released exclusively on PC and current generation consoles, i.e. PS5 and XSX|S. Activison will probably skip the last generation hardware.
Modern Warfare 2 will be a sort of full-fledged sequel to 2019’s Modern Warfare. There will be a strong storyline, which should continue the threads started in the aforementioned installment. Warzone 2, on the other hand, is supposed to be a powerful evolution in the battle royale category, which the new graphics engine should allow. The production is built from scratch and will offer a lot of modes, including “sandbox mode”. Moreover, Raven Software is helping in the creation of Warzone 2.
