PUBG IS FREE TO PLAY NOW!

“Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds” has officially switched to a free distribution model. One of the most popular representatives of the battle royale genre is now available to everyone, and the maintenance of servers and development of the production are to provide microtransactions.

KRAFTON Studio has already informed players that they are preparing to switch to a free-to-play model and shortly after the announcement the change in the form of distribution of the title was implemented. From now on, all interested parties, regardless of the platform, can download the game to their drives and go into battle alone or with a team.

Of course, the introduction of the free-to-play model for “PUBG” is associated with the development of already available microtransactions. Fortunately, players who decide to invest real cash in the title will not gain an advantage over other players by doing so. As it was so far, with real cash we can buy only cosmetic additions to weapons and characters to stand out on the battlefield.

There will also be visual additions to our characters in the form of skins and camouflage.

Players who purchased the game before its transition to a free distribution model, certainly will not be at a loss. Waiting for them is a Special Commemorative Package, which includes:

● Battlegrounds Plus
● Set of skins
● Legacy goodies.

The latest update bearing the number 15.2 is also now available on the official servers. In addition to new content, the patch has traditionally improved gameplay balance, fixed bugs related to the minimap, and introduced a new look to the store
