Fortnite has Ariane Grande, and PUBG is going crazy with Blackpink UwU!
Blackpink is coming to PUBG! To welcome the newest affiliate, there’s a game update and items featuring the Korean band’s favorite themes. To celebrate the partnership with Blackpink, BLACKPINK-themed items have also been added to various maps. Find them all while they’re there. And from when to when are they?
PUBG’s partnership with Blackpink will officially launch on August 8 and run through September 9. As part of it, you will see various references to the team on various battlefields. Inscriptions on the walls of a building, a pennant on the tail of a plane, or dedicated supply boxes – it will be impossible to miss these elements.
A total of 38 items will appear on the battlefields, including Blackpink stage costumes. The developers reassure us, however, that elements of the band members’ facial appearance are not included. Each band member’s kit includes hair, clothing, weapons, emoticons and a plaque.
And finally, to celebrate the collaboration between PUBG and Blackpink, the developers are hosting a Special Drops event! Complete all missions and earn rewards (schedule available here). In addition, there will be other events where you can get real BLACKPINK level 3 helmets and autographed CDs. More details will be announced later.
